Restaurants in Tashkent

Since most Uzbeks seem to visit restaurants occasionally and only to celebrate special events, restaurants in Tashkent are better equipped to handle formal dinners that involve banquet halls and floorshows as opposed to a la carte menus and hushed, deferential waiters. That said, food for every palate is available - whether it is traditional Uzbek cuisine or international food. Tashkent also boasts of Korean and Pakistani restaurants that serve traditional cuisine. Of late some classy restaurants have opened up for business here and they provide world-class food at around 50 US dollars per head.
