Uzbekistan hotel has been in business since 1974. Built in the time of the Soviets, it still remains one of the most popular hotels in Tashkent; serving tourists, business clientele and local people. The hotel is particularly popular as a venue to hold festivities, weddings and banquets, and its vast lobby is usually crowded.
