This tour allows guests to visit three countries in the region: Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan, each with its own unique culture and traditions, with different lifestyles and landscapes. Though this tour is a little difficult due to visa and border formalities, it lets guests see three countries which share a common background, but differ completely in experience and flavour.
Guests start their tour from Tashkent, the major transport hub of Central Asia. From here, they will take a one-day or two-day tour to southern Kazakhstan, where famous monuments of Islamic culture are located.
Then they continue on the tour to the historical cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, which are definitely the must-see highlights of any tour organized in Central Asia.
Through the border of Uzbekistan in the south-west, guests drive to Turkmenistan, a terra incognita not only for Western travellers but even for most of the people living in the region. The spectacular capital city Ahgabad, the endless deserts of Karakums and the remnants of ancient cities Kunya Urgench and Merv are the main attractions here.
